Photographer-animal painter Eric Cheng was in the midst of a flock of sardines, driven skillful predator – Atlantic sailing – which uses a unique method of hunting.

Living by a hasty road, these animals aren’t willing to take any chances when it comes to getting across securely. Instead, a rabbit and a stoat are cleverly using an underground network of drains to make it to the other side. The cute animals scuttle from one side of the road to the other and pop out of drains in order to avoid being hit by traffic.

Surfing is always a fun thing to do whether you are a beginner who keeps falling off the board or a professional. But, what you see in the pictures is extreme and extraordinary. While surfing in warm waters is one thing, surfing in icy cold Arctic waters is a whole different experience. The diving suit has to be always worn so you don’t die of the cold and the waves that come up can be pretty high so you must be a good surfer to be able to do this.

Although some of the regions look quite calm others looks downright rough. You can’t deny that it looks appealing and the lack of crowd makes it all the more special. The breathtaking beauty of the ice everywhere adds to the feeling of pleasant isolation. If you look hard, you will see that a few tiny houses are the only sign of inhabitation you see in all the pictures.

Oil Spill will Affect the Flora and Fauna of the Barrier Reef

A cargo ship from China ran into the reef called Douglas Shoals at full speed. This broke its hull resulting in spillage of oil. This oil slick has already spread for three miles. This can seriously affect the living creatures that you can see in the pictures of the area. The ship called Shen-Neng hit the reef that has been included in the World Heritage List by UNESCO.

The cargo ship is carrying 950 tons of oil and the damage that this amount of oil can cause can only be imagined. Apart from that, the dry cargo ship will have 65,000 tons of coal which will also be a disaster if it goes down with the ship. It is time for some quick action to be taken to save not only the ship but its contents so that as little harms comes to the sea life as possible.

Here are some amazing pictures that are taken from satellite. These pictures all represent unnatural changes that are taking place around the world due to effects like global warming. The first picture is an amazing image of the waters of the south eastern coast of Sri Lanka before the tsunami hit. The waters seem to move more than 400 meters away from the shore before the great tsunami hit the area. There is also a picture depicting the fast melting glaciers of the Himalayas. There are various pictures depicting the behavior of tornados, ice glaciers and cyclones. One picture shows a great shot of the total solar eclipse that took place in 1991. You may wonder how they managed to put a full grown pear and other fruit in these liquor bottles. It might seem like a wonder but once you get to know the process of manufacturing these, you will know that it does not take a lot. These pears were not put into the bottles after they have grown to their full size. Instead, they were grown inside the bottles itself. The trick is to find the king pear of the bunch of growing pear buds and to slip this into the liquor bottles. The bottles are wired such that they can be connected to the branches of the fruit trees. You need to slip the fruit bud into the narrow bottle neck of the bottle and the bottle has to be placed upside down so that any material that forms can slip out through the neck easily.

There is a big man made jungle that is under construction for our future children. The modern world is going to be less of a natural jungle and more of a concrete jungle in the. These photos show how we are well on our way to making planet earth one big concrete jungle. Even the monkeys are making peace with this and now they reside in the construction of these huge buildings. More and more children are being brought up with no direct contact with nature. Soon a time will come when nature would be extinct and children won’t be able to enjoy the joys of walking through the woods and having a picnic next to the streams or a walk through a park with cotton candy in hand. This shall be replaced instead with a trip in the multiplex with 2 hours movies to fill up their time before dinner at KFC.

Starfish Washed Ashore-A Spectacle You’d Rather Not Witness

The pictures show thousands of starfish washed ashore which requires you to almost pick your way through the starfish of all sizes. This usually happens when the seas are choppy around the feeding grounds of the starfish. Starfish feed on mussel beds and can get thrown onto the beach during bad weather conditions. There is nothing much one can do to save them.

Of the thousands on the shore majority will be dead and only a few may be alive but as long as they stay on the beach, they end up dead. It is impossible to save them all as it the starfish will be spread for miles on the shore. Although the spectacle can amaze you with its color, it is indeed a very sad occurrence. People blame the bad weather and such strange occurrences to the global warming and its effect on the world.
