Most Expensive Honey  120 grams – 42 pounds, or $83 USD

The London department store Harrods sells the most expensive honey in their pharmacy. This particular brand is called Life Mel Honey and is sold as a nutritional supplement. Life Mel honey is being sold for £42 (around $83) per 120g pot. The honey includes no additives and no artificial treatments. Its rich flavor and aroma are similar to those of Mankusa honey. One of the things that make this honey so pricey is that it is made from honey that bees in Israel produce. These honey bees are on a special diet of Echinacea, Siberian Ginseng, and Uncaria Tomentosa, so they can produce this very special honey. The honey has been subject to clinical trials to determine its ability to help protect chemotherapy patients from neutropenia, a complication that renders patients more susceptible to bacterial infection.

Most Expensive Cheese  $500/lb

Moose milk cheese is made at the Moose House, a 59-acre moose dairy farm in Bjursholm, in northern Sweden. The cheese comes from the milk of three moose cows, named Gullan, Haelga, and Juna. The animals, usually wild, have been domesticated, making it possible to milk them. The milk, which contains 12% fat and as much protein, is refrigerated, and curdling is done three times per year, producing about 660 pounds of cheese annually. The Moose House attracts about 25,000 visitors a year.

Most Expensive Wool   $1,800-3,000 USD

A yard of the world’s most expensive wool may fetch prices that range from $1,800-3,000 USD, depending on the type of wool used. The wool comes from an animal called the vicuña, which is in the same animal family as the llama and the alpaca. Origins of South America, these animals are so desired that they are nearing the point of extinction. This is one reason why the wool is so expensive. The vicuña’s rarity and the difficulties inherent in harvesting the skittish animal’s coat have made it the most expensive wool in the world. It may also be the most expensive due to its high quality nature and because it is so incredibly warm. Due to its sensitive nature, the colour of the wool is left in its natural state because it cannot deal with harsh chemicals.

Most Expensive Eggs   $3,420

caviar Most expensive animals product in the world

Most Expensive Eggs is caviar. Caviar is the processed, salted roe of certain species of fish, most notably the sturgeon (black caviar) and the salmon (red caviar). It is commercially marketed worldwide as a delicacy and is eaten as a garnish or a spread; for example, with hors d’œuvres. Caviar prices vary widely based on quality, season, and individual merchant margins. Products that sound the same can vary, e.g., different species of salmon or American sturgeon caviar. Retailers pack different sizes: some sell 1, 3.5 and 6.5 ounce containers; others offer only 2, 5 and 7 ounce sizes. Some sell in grams.
