At the far end of the beach a girl is tossing starfish back into the water. An older man approaches her and says, “You realize how futile what you’re doing is right? You can’t possibly make a difference.” The young woman contemplates the starfish in her hand and then as she gently tosses it out into the waves replies “Well, I made a difference to this one.” Even small gestures for good are never wasted.

This is an amazing, and yes, sad, occurrence.
But can we please stop fear mongering for two seconds and not blame thousands of dead starfish on global warming?

so when this happens call your friends and have them call theirs etc and have a starfish saving party

I think it’s sad too though. And Rhonda it would be awesome people did get together and have a starfish saving party.
