When stupid people have guns

Recently there have been a few examples of how stupidly people can act with guns. Gun violence is a big problem that many of us have probably become desensitized about – since it seems everyday people are senselessly shot and killed.

In modern parlance, a gun is a projectile weapon using a hollow, tubular barrel with a closed end—the breech—as the means of directing the projectile (as well as other purposes, for example stabilizing the projectile’s trajectory, aiming, as an expansion chamber for propellant, etc), and firing in a generally flat trajectory.

Most of these people shouldn’t be allowed to own even a knife. Just a bunch of idiots with guns.

Just the other day, we admired the original furniture – colorful “noodles” from which you can link and stove, and chair, and rug for children’s games, and everything that you want, but the hands will master. Today we again knitting. But this time, edible.

I am sure that even inveterate sweet tooth never tried to drink tea with, say, the sleeve of the sweater, or a piece of nedovyazannogo scarf … Although in order to enjoy this delicacy prodigies do not necessarily transform a mole. Beautiful Ashikaga flower park

The Japanese love flowers, and wisteria are among their favorites. Wisteria are called fuji in Japanese.

One of the best places to view fuji flowers is the Ashikaga Flower Park. Japanese Ashikaga Flower Park (Ashikaga Flower Park) is located in the city in the province of Ashikaga Tochigi on o.Honsyu. Park covers about 8, 2 hectares and is famous for various kinds of wisteria. The park features lots of Ashikaga colors blue, pink and white wisteria and yellow broom, which look like yellow wisteria.

One large fuji tree is 100 years old and its branches are supported to create a huge umbrella of blue fuji flowers. There is also a long tunnel of white fuji flowers, while a tunnel of yellow kingusari needs a few more years to become an actual tunnel.

Owners of dogs often enter them in competitions such as breed conformation shows or sports.
In conformation shows, also referred to as breed shows, a judge familiar with the specific dog breed evaluates individual purebred dogs for conformity with their established breed type as described in the breed standard. As the breed standard only deals with the externally observable qualities of the dog (such as appearance, movement, and temperament), separately tested qualities (such as ability or health) are not part of the judging in conformation shows.
Over the 15,000 year span that the dog had been domesticated, it diverged into only a handful of landraces, groups of similar animals whose morphology and behavior have been shaped by environmental factors and functional roles. As the modern understanding of genetics developed, humans began to intentionally breed dogs for a wide range of specific traits. Through this process, the dog has developed into hundreds of varied breeds, and shows more behavioral and morphological variation than any other land mammal.

A mouse is a small mammal belonging to the order of rodents. This rodent is eaten by large birds such as hawks and eagles. They are known to invade homes for food and occasionally shelter.
Cats, wild dogs, foxes, birds of prey, snakes and even certain kinds of arthropods have been known to prey heavily upon mice. Nevertheless, because of its remarkable adaptability to almost any environment, the mouse is one of the most successful mammalian genera living on Earth today.
Primarily nocturnal animals, mice compensate for their poor eyesight with a keen sense of hearing, and rely especially on their sense of smell to locate food and avoid predators.

Fox Vs Mouse

Fox is a common name for many species of carnivorous mammals belonging to the Canidae family. They live in small family groups, and are opportunistic feeders that hunt live prey (especially rodents). Using a pouncing technique practised from an early age, they are usually able to kill their prey quickly.

The diet of foxes is largely made up of invertebrates. However, it also includes rodents, rabbits and other small mammals, reptiles, (such as snakes), amphibians, grasses, berries, fruit, fish, birds, eggs, dung beetles, insects and all other kinds of small animals. Most species of fox generally consume around 1 kg of food every day. Foxes cache excess food, burying it for later consumption, usually under leaves, snow, or soil.

Owl Vs Mouse

Owls generally have a hunting territory away from their daytime roost. All Owls are equipped with special adaptations that make them efficient predators. Keen eyesight allows them locate quarry even on dim nights. Sensitive, directional hearing helps locate concealed prey. Some species can even hunt in complete darkness using sound alone to guide them to a successful kill. An Owl’s flight is silenced by special wing feathers, that muffle the sound of the air rushing over the surface of the wing.

This allows an Owl to hunt by stealth, taking their victims by surprise. It also allows the Owl to listen for prey movements while still flying.

Leopard Vs Mouse

This mouse diced with death when it tucked into the lunch of a hungry leopard. Seemingly unaware of the beast towering over it, the mischievous rodent grabbed at scraps of meat thrown into the African Leopard’s enclosure.

But instead of pouncing on the the tiny intruder the 12-year-old leopard, called Sheena, appeared to be afraid of the daring mouse and kept her distance. At one stage she tried to nudge the mouse away with her nose, but the determined little chap carried on chewing away until he was full.

Cats feed on small prey, primarily birds and rodents. Cats use two hunting strategies, either stalking prey actively, or waiting in ambush until an animal comes close enough to be captured.

A prowling pussycat eyes a lone mouse stranded all alone in the snow. Then he swaggers over only to find the plucky rodent is prepared to put up a fight.

With the sneakiest of moves, a hungry lemur almost manages to get this unsuspecting mouse in his clutches. But a split second before it became lunch, the mouse felt something wasn’t quite right. Maybe it spotted the shadow of the looming paw. Or maybe it just heard a lemur tummy rumble. It managed to scarper, leaving the lemur licking his lips and cursing his luck.

River is home to some of the millions of fresh-water type of animals – not to mention its body is being lurk by the creepiest river monsters day and night. These type of monsters are like the ones your mom used to scare you when you’re just a kid. Creatures straight from your nightmare, actually.

Vampire Piranha

A close relative of the piranha, the payara is often called the “vampire fish” because of its long fangs, which can grow to 6 inches in length. This little-known but frightening-looking fish is found in the Orinoco River in Venezuela.

Goliath Tigerfish

When your name is “Goliath,” you’d better be one humongous, ferocious creature, and the goliath tigerfish definitely lives up to its moniker. A native of the Congo River basin, the Lualaba River, Lake Upemba and Lake Tanganyika in Africa, it’s the largest member of the tigerfish clan, a genus of fierce predators with protruding, daggerlike teeth. The biggest one on record was nearly 5 feet long and weighed 154 pounds, the equivalent of a super-welterweight prizefighter. And it outclasses other African game fish in speed and power.

African lungfish

Not a pretty fish, the African lungfish is a harmless but truly frightening-looking river monster. The largest specimens can reach about 6.6 feet in length. African lungfish are periodically exposed to water with low oxygen content or situations in which their aquatic environment dries up. Their adaptation for dealing with these conditions is an outpocketing of the gut that serves as a lung.

Piraiba Catfish

Jeremy Wade holds a 72-pound, 5-foot-long piraiba catfish. These formidable fish can grow to over 10 feet in length and 600 pounds in weight. This powerful fish can drown a wrestling fisherman by dragging him to the bottom of the river. One story tells of a fisherman diving down to untangle a fishing net and vanishing, only to reappear hours later over halfway down the gullet of a giant piraiba.

Nile Perch

The Nile perch is considered one of the world’s 100 worst invasive species, though Jeremy caught this one in its native habitat. This species can grow to 6 feet in length and weigh over 500 pounds. This river monster has caused catastrophic declines among native fish populations in areas where it’s been introduced.

Photographer-animal painter Eric Cheng was in the midst of a flock of sardines, driven skillful predator – Atlantic sailing – which uses a unique method of hunting.

Man spends 32,000 hours creating a model of an oil rig using four million matchsticks

David Reynolds 51, has spent 32,000 hours creating what is now officially the world’s biggest matchstick model. Apart from costing him £5,000 in wood and glue, it has left things a bit strained in the Reynolds household. The model weighs a tonne, is 3.6m tall and 6.4m long and at one stage had to be split into 14 sections. Each matchstick was individually polished and then glued in place to create the 21ft long, 12ft high masterpiece.

A man who spent 15 years building a gigantic oil rig out of a whopping 4 million matches and hopes to get his creation into the record books. The current record for the most matches used to make a model stands at three-and-a-half million matches. The model took up two bedrooms, the loft, two sheds and half his garage so he’s now relocated it to a local museum.

There’s the main body of the rig itself, supported by three enormous circular buttresses, littered with cranes, lifeboats and a helipad marked with an ‘H’. Then there’s what’s called the platform – almost as big as the rig itself and designed to bob about to one side on an enormous floating pontoon.

‘It just started as a bit of a hobby but I guess it got out of hand,’ said retired oil rig engineer Mr Reynolds. ‘It’s good fun and keeps the grey matter working.

A street art tribute to Michael Jordan made out of 19,000 Gatorade bottles, including the new Gatorade Limited Edition Jordan Series, glows on a basketball court Monday on Chicago’s South Side. Local Jordan fans and longtime Jordan teammate Scottie Pippen helped construct the mosaic, which Gatorade organized as a way to celebrate Jordan’s Hall of Fame career.
