Deep sea never fails to fascinate us with its natural beauty. Photographs from the sea show us things we would probably not see in our lifetime. In the pictures, the shoals of fish look breathtaking as you can almost feel them move even though it’s a picture. The shoals can vary in size depending on the population of that species in the area. The shoal can also be made of mixed species of fish which are of similar sizes and move alike.
The shoals of different fish look different and whenever there is a predator around, the formations break and reform which can look wonderful as well. When underwater, shoals moving overhead will feel like a dark cloud moving in the sky. Moving in shoals gives the fish better chances of escaping from a predator and higher foraging success and hence a fish will choose shoals with fish similar to it.
